{weekend} lovelies

May 10, 2013

:: Weekend Lovelies ::

Happy Mother’s Day! It is a day of celebrating the joys of motherhood while being thankful for our own Mother’s, Grandmother’s, and not to mention Mother-in-laws. This Mother’s Day we are hopeful for a day of peace and quiet while enjoying some family time. We are sincerely hoping for a day of rest from the usual clean-up, so much like the quote from Tulips and Flight Suits. It is the perfect excuse to let the house duties go for the day. As mommies we sometimes need a little break and time to recoup. We am simply dreaming of a much needed getaway…..

Bellies and Babies

February 20, 2013

 From Bellies to Babies

bellies to babies 7

bellies to babies 2

has been a small window of time in my life.

My babies are 6 and almost 4 (going on 15).

As a mother, I do have a small regret.

I deeply wish that I had a professional photographer

capture my belly {maternity photography}

and that I also had the precious moments of our

first quiet, yet sleepless days spent

at home with my tiny babies.

My excuses seem silly to me now,

but at the time of my pregnancy with Mason,

I had braces, was on and off bed rest,

and was working full time.

Both times my image of what pregnancy

should look like stood

in the way of capturing this moment.

My pregnancy with Madeline seemed to go by

within the blink of an eye,

as I was chasing a small toddler around.

As mothers, we are often the figures behind

the camera and not the one’s in the picture.

If I could bestow one small piece of advice

to a new mommy, I would say that this part

 life is very important.

The smell and the time I still recollect,

but the pictures of my little family together during

my pregnancies and the first days… I can’t get back.

Luckily, I do know of a wonderful photographer.

{Candace Rock Photography}

She happened to feel the same way as I do.

She has turned her passion into a career

of photographing these exact moments so that they

can be part of your memory keeping.

Here are some of the lovely families she has captured.

These photographs are stunning and are a wonderful

representation of motherhood.

Candace has the talent of catching the right

light and feeling of these moments.

I truly believe that being a mother has

helped her instinct in shooting

the emotions and love that her clients

will treasure as their family milestones.

I am hopeful that a new mommy will toss aside

the lack of time and or body image issues of the moment

and enjoy being the beautiful mama in front of the camera.

As the years pass it will not be a

regret but a happy memory.

Go over and check out Candace’s website and like her

Facebook page where she has updates of upcoming

photo sessions and snap shots of her

adventures in motherhood.

The Annual Holiday Card

November 11, 2012

Ok so the pressure is upon us….well I guess just around the corner?

So many of my friends are chatting about when and where they will be taking their family photos

and what card company they will be using.  Pressure right?!!!

The pressure to find the perfect card the perfect picture where your family is in-sync.

Not to mention the preparation of coordinating the clothes and look you are hoping that

will transpire from your brain unto the actual photography shoot.

Pressure……plus holiday pressure…yuck!

What happened to the days when people sent cards and made going into a Hallmark

Store a priority so that the pressure of this one card was not so high,

{oh yes, I still do this too!}.

Or what if you were very pleased with your family photo and card from last year like I was.

I had a wonderful session with my family and the photographer,

my Best Friend captured who we

are at heart {Candace Rock Photography}, and then to top it off

I found a wonderful deal on a Tri-Fold card on heavy card stock.

Ideal in my eyes…..

And now I am in panic mode.

Due to a busy fall, I am behind some what.

I have not had time to coordinate with our photographer a day when we can take photos.

I have decided that though I would like a family photo on our card that I need to

take some of the pressure off of the situation and create a new idea that works for me.

I love photographing my children.

I have taken a few photography classes myself on how to use my camera properly.

I am not an expert but I did arrange for a photo session with the kids ONLY.

After the loss of three balloons and a broken lollipop I may have caught a moment or two.

The family photo will have to wait…..

{an expert is needed for this…thanks Candace, perfect for Christmas gifts!}

but for now I am happy with the product that I captured with my own two hands.

Though I am not part of the photo I can look back at this as a witness through my own lens.

  • For rapid leg weight loss, a combination of intense cardio and targeted leg exercises is key. High-impact activities like running, cycling, or jumping rope burn calories and reduce overall body fat. Adding exercises like squats, lunges, and leg lifts tones and strengthens the leg muscles, giving them a more defined, lean look. Pairing these exercises with a healthy, balanced diet will accelerate the process. #RapidLegWeightLoss #SexyLegs #FitnessJourney #LegToning #FatBurning #StrongLegs #CardioForLegs #HealthyLifestyle #LegDayWorkout
