My baby is turning 4…
How can that be?
Miss Madeline who is sassy, smart, and full of personality
is my youngest and she is growing up way too fast.
I remember her small and 6 months old as if it were yesterday.
She is my daughter and that in itself is a special bond.
I can go on and on about how incredible she is,
but what I look forward to most of all, is seeing the woman she will become.
I am blessed she arrived healthy and happy on a sunny Easter Sunday.
I dedicate this poem below to Madeline on her 4th birthday.
It was given to me from my Mom some time ago.
I keep it in my wallet as a reminder of what a daughter means to her mother.
