Strawberry Ice Cream

 :: Strawberry Ice Cream ::

It’s summer and it’s hot out there, so why not cool down with some Strawberry Ice Cream?  I know, I know… a few of you looked at the last ice cream post and have told me that you are too scared to make homemade ice cream.  Really, I promise it’s easy, and what is even easier is finding an abundance ripe strawberries during this time of year.

Okay so here is the plan…..open up the your closet or cabinet where you have your ice cream maker hidden. Dust it off and open the box {yes you know the same box it has been in since you opened it on your wedding day}. Pull it out and place the freezer bowl into your freezer.  Keep it overnight, and better yet… after you make this recipe, keep it in your freezer forever {yes forever}, because it will be a wonderful reminder to make simple wholesome ice cream! Believe me, you will notice the difference right away. Also, what’s great about homemade ice cream is that you can control the sugar and ingredients that go in it.  Summer ice cream makes for happy kids, guests, and cherished summer memories.  Hope you enjoy whipping up a batch of one of my favorite flavors!

    1. Thanks Lena, that kitchen aid ice cream attachment is a dream. That makes it a simple way of making ice cream. Easy to make the beginning part in a mixing bowl attachment then the pour in the ingredients into the ice cream attachment. I would think that would be easy clean up. Wow how do you like your attachment. Always thought about getting one, but I keep asking Santa for the pasta one, hoping I am a good girl and get one this year 🙂
