Healthy Pumpkin Date Smoothie:: Pumpkin Date Smoothie ::

I have to admit, I have a smoothie addiction, and right now I am love Pumpkin Smoothies.  My favorite one is at a local juice bar.  It’s a seasonal smoothie, so I thought I needed to come up with my own Pumpkin Date Smoothie before I have to go COLD TURKEY, which wouldn’t be a good thing this time of the year {wink}.

Yummy and healthy Pumpkin Date Smoothie

I love a good smoothie for either breakfast or lunch.  They really help me in the energy department.  What I love best about this smoothie is it’s tasty fall flavors. I made it a secret mission of mine to find dates to add to this smoothie.  Luckily after stop off at my in-laws I was able to visit a cute Date Garden in the Desert. It was there at Shields Date Garden that I found out why dates make this Pumpkin Date Smoothie. I highly recommend pitted dates for this recipe and I would suggest if you are ever in the Indio/ La Quinta area, that you too should visit Shields it truly is a magical place that dates back 1924.
