The summer adventure has begun for us.  No more school for a bit.  An exciting time, yet at the same token a busy time.  As moms we try very hard to keep things happy, interesting, and fun in our homes.  It doesn’t necessarily go as planned, but we do like the idea of beginning a summer adventure with endless possibilities.  For me the start and end of a school year gives me a little bit of anxiety. A new routine never bodes well with little Mason, and ending one that worked is something that does not happen very often in our lives.  The first lovely is the perfect snap shot of life with autism {beautifully written and well said}.  This school year finally did work with all of its moving parts.  Hooray, and with that in mind, I will now let go and find a little OM.  I’m excited about the summertime fun ahead. Whoo Hoo! School’s out for Summer! Although fabulous to have a break from the normal school routine, it’s usually a bittersweet time for us parents, right?! I mean, let’s be honest… the kids are home around the clock so there can be a lot of sibling bickering going on and requests to play on electronic devices or watch television. This {weekend} lovelies, is a reflection of summer dreams + loves. We are counting down the minutes, hours, and few days before we can sit back and slow down a bit. I don’t know about you, but I feel as though I have been holding my breath for the last few weeks.  I think the end of the school year activities are causing us to not see straight, or maybe I am not seeing straight because I am worrying about becoming a year older {but wiser}.  That being said I will reflect a little bit about the things we love, would love to experience, and are enjoying for the time being.  Cheers to another beautiful and lovely weekend ahead! Birchbox Beauty Favorites

I love products…. but I certainly don’t go to beauty supply stores and shop for myself often. With four kids, it seems like all shopping these days is for them…. not mama! Birchbox is perfect for someone like me! At only ten dollars a month, I don’t feel bad with the small purchase. The added bonus is that you don’t pay additional shipping and it comes in the mail… so it’s like opening up a little present once a month! I had every intention of doing a monthly review of its contents… but that hasn’t happened… In fact, I’ve only done this one {which you can view here}. In lieu of the monthly review, I decided to share with you several of my favorite products that I have received over the past five months. All of my favorites are on the Birchbox Best Sellers list, which means I am not alone in my opinions! These products are of great quality and ones I will purchase for myself once my samples run out. 

 

theBalm // Put A Lid On It

A little goes a long way with this amazing eyelid primer! I have used several other brands. This one happens to be less money, while still producing the same lasting, creaseless effect! Your shadows and eyeliner will stay on all day long! At times, I hesitate when about to wash off my eye makeup {at the end of the day} because it still looks perfect! I’m not one to sleep in my makeup, but I almost wonder if you could! You would probably wake up with your eyes looking flawless, assuming you’re a back sleeper! This product retails for $18.
