A dear friend introduced me to the Trader Joe’s Almond Butter this year. I must say…. our family is hooked & seems to prefer it over peanut butter. This recipe sounds amazing, right?!!! Almonds, sea salt, honey & vanilla bean?!! Wow! Can’t wait to whip up a batch & drench it over fresh green apple slices!

DIY How to Sew Throw Pillows // Girl. Inspired.

Funny story. I have a mother that can do absolutely anything she puts her mind to! You name it…. she can sew {she even made my sister’s wedding gown}, crochet, create stained glass pieces, garden, fix an engine…. On top of it all, she’s an incredible artist & smarty! Last summer my husby told me I needed to spend some time learning things from my mom to pass on to our kids {seriously, I’m in my mid-thirties!}. I told my mom, and she replied… “Honey, let’s just skip a generation!” Haha!!! I’m still laughing over that one! Perhaps there is no hope for me! If I were to start somewhere with sewing, however, it would probably be with this simple tutorial on how to sew throw pillows…

Confession. I’m completely rug obsessed. Boho rug obsessed with a tribal feel, to be exact. In fact… I just purchased these three rugs from West Elm {1 | 2 | 3 } for our new mountain home in lieu of a summer vacation {true story… but hopefully there is a camping trip in our near future!}.
