We found this uplifting video floating around Facebook. It was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  I don’t usually take the time to watch these, but when a friend had posted this on her page saying how “awesome” this couple was, I had to watch.  It’s definitely worth a view or two……

I know we dread this part of summer… well at least I do.  With two kids in tow, I am in a bathing suit often. Madeline is still learning to swim and Mason still needs eyes on him in the pool or ocean.  So I am on a mission {one in which I have already failed}… hence the return of my first purchased suit of the season {sigh}. Now that summer is almost here, this is the perfect guide to follow for a purchase that sticks.

Summer isn’t summer without a family camping trip.  Have you ever visited Big Sur, California? It’s breathtaking! It’s a wonderful combination of the Pacific Ocean and Redwood Forest. I know it’s on our list of family adventures this summer.
