Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly grease a 9x13 inch pan and set aside.
For the bottom:
Pour two cups of pretzels into a ziploc bag.
Crush the pretzels with the back of a spoon or meat tenderizer.
Pour the pretzels in a bowl with the sugar and butter and mix.
Place the mixture over the bottom of the pan and place in the oven for 10 min.
Once down let this layer completely cool.
For the middle:
Beat the cream cheese in a mixer.
Add the sugar and lemon zest and whip until incorporated.
With a spatula fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is fluffy.
Place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Once set, layer over the pretzel layer.
For the top:
Boil two cups of hot water.
Mix in the jello packet until dissolved.
Add in the frozen strawberries.
Gently spoon this mixture over the middle layer.
Distribute evenly.
Cool in the fridge for 30 minutes and then enjoy!
